At the beginning the exquisite Tanqueray London Dry Gin shines with a strong and spicy scent that immediately makes you lust for more. The taste of the perfectly balanced Tanqueray London Dry Gin is very complex and has a spicy juniper berry aroma which gently covers the whole tongue. This flavour of juniper berry remains in its long lasting finish on the tounge some time after tasting. The Tanqueray London Dry Gin was launched in 1830 by Charles Tanqueray and is a classic among Gins which still enjoys a worldwide reputation. Originally the Gin by Charles Tanqueray was prepared in the Bloomsbury distillery in London's Bloomsbury. However after the founder's death and the destruction of the distillery during World War II, the production site of the Tanqueray London Dry Gin was relocated to the old Scottish town of Cameron. There the Gin is still made by Tanqueray Gordon & Company, a merger of Tanqueray and Gordon who have 180 years of distilling experience and excellence. The production of the Tanqueray London Dry Gin takes place under the strictest secrecy. This is why we are not 100% sure as to all the hand selected Botanicals that make up the composition of this traditional Gin. It is believed that angelica root, cinnamon, spicy juniper berry, licquorice, coriander seed, cassia bark, zesty lemon and orange peel are all part of the recipe. We do know for sure though that the refreshing and sophisticated Tanqueray London Dry Gin is distilled four times during its manufacturing process to increase its quality and purity.
