This updated edition of the Rayguns theme features tie-dye graphics on the leather upper as an homage to the late Sandy Bodecker, the Nike executive responsible for the rise of Nike SB in the early 2000s. Bodecker often wore a tie-dye Rayguns hoodie, hence the remodeled tie-dye on the shoes. This white or “away” colorway of the 2019 “Rayguns” Dunk features a white leather base with a faint black tie-dye treatment and orange and white tie-dye accents.
