If there were ever a color more representative of 2019, it would most definitely be the bright UNC blue, taking to the uppers of the Jordan 1 in many a different form. After dressing up in patent leather and standing as the focal themes of Eric Koston’s SB Low iteration, the scheme is back once more though in fitting simplicity. Overlays are mostly doused in a dark Obsidian tone throughout, providing strong balance to the brighter hue that lies right at the heel wrap and ankle flaps. Iconography matches the former, with bases of a smooth leather adding segments of a slightly off-kilter white shade. Midsoles then follow suit while hits of the midnight-esque navy line its bottom.
